In the second quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Algeria showed dynamic trends across the top applications on the Android platform. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here's a detailed look at the top five apps in this category.

Yassir - Ride, Eat & Shop maintained a solid presence with weekly downloads ranging from approximately 35K to 57K. The app saw a notable spike in active users, peaking at over 1.7M by mid-June, before settling at around 1.6M by the end of the quarter.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares also performed well, with downloads increasing from about 30K to nearly 35K towards the quarter's end. Active users showed a significant upward trend, starting at over 400K and reaching a peak of approximately 577K.

Heetch - Ride-hailing app experienced steady growth in downloads, beginning at 23K and climbing to nearly 29K by late June. Active users consistently grew, peaking at over 700K in the last week of the quarter.
